    What is at stake?

    🔥
How do we ensure that the work environment contributes to the creation of value for the startup?

    Why is it important?

At the Seed stage, it is becoming essential to question how the startup utilizes uses its resources in relation to the its objectives it has set. This is the difference between effectiveness and efficiency, and it particularly applies to the work environment, which can consume a lot of resources that may not always be necessary for achieving the objectives.

    Three key steps to take

    1️⃣ Measure Environmental Effectiveness

    • For instance, measure carbon emissions and digital pollution.

    2️⃣ Measure Social Effectiveness

    • For example, measure the safety conditions for individuals and property, as well as the well-being of employees (noise, equipment, etc.).

    3️⃣ Measure Economic Effectiveness

    • For instance, measure the monetary resources used by the work environment to assess their relevance (electricity, furniture, office occupancy rates, maintenance costs, real estate expenses...).
